Em julho de 2010, o Base-V começou uma nova empreitada nas artes gráficas. A Multiplo: Arte Reprodutível, é um loja/galeria, onde estão expostos e à venda, exemplares de arte em série, principalmente em papel. São serigrafias, gravuras, stencils, livros de artista, fanzines entre outras formas de publicação artística, produzidas por diferentes artistas de diversos lugares do mundo.
Desde o início do grupo fazemos nossas edições caseiras, de pequenos livros e gravuras, até edições mais especiais como nosso Box de serigrafias, em geral em pequenas tiragens. O interesse nessas linguagens está justamente em criar trabalhos que sejam pensados para o formato reprodutível, que todas as “cópias” sejam originais, pois o trabalho só existirá naquele formato.
A idéia é tornar mais possível que uma pessoa compre um trabalho de arte mesmo que não seja um colecionador profissional. Esse projeto somente é possível graças ao apoio do Espaço Ã, que nos convidou a ocupar os espaços onde funcionam hoje as duas unidades da loja, na Vila Madalena e no Ipiranga.

Since July 2010, Base-V began a new venture in the graphic arts. The Multiplo: Reproducible Arts, is a store/gallery, where its displayed and for sale, copies of art in the series, mostly on paper. There are screenprintings, engravings, stencils, artist books, zines and other artistic forms of publication, produced by different artists from different places in the world.
Since the beginning of the group, we make our homemade editions of small books and prints, even as our special editions like the Box of screenprintings, usually in small print runs. The interest precisely in these languages is to create works that are designed for reproducible format, since its beginning, so all the “copies” are unique, because the work only exists in this format. The idea is to make it possible for a person to buy a work of art even if not being a professional collector. This project is only possible with the support of Espaço Ã, who invited us to occupy the spaces where the two units now operate the Multiplo, in Vila Madalena and Ipiranga, in Sao Paulo.
